Private Music Therapy
**COVID19 Update: Online sessions only.
Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed music therapy professional (AMTA).
Play Music offers private music therapy sessions to support development in behavioral, physical, emotional, social/communication, and sensorimotor skills, or educational goals (identified by IEP team). Music therapy involvement can stimulate attention and increase motivation to participate more fully in other aspects of individual home and educational setting. Music therapy interventions apply the inherent order of music to set behavioral expectations, provide reassurance, and maintain structure for children with special needs (AMTA).
