About Play Music

Play Music provides music therapy based programs and services for education, healing, and celebration. Founded in 2006 as one of the first official Los Angeles South Bay music therapy organizations by Sara Dee (Music Therapist/Songwriter), Play Music has since expanded to serve thousands of families, both local and international. We believe in the pursuit of joy and growth thru the power of music and play.

Sara Dee, Director of Operations. Music Therapist & Songwriter.

Sara holds a degree in Music Therapy from Chapman University and is a board-certified Music Therapist. She has provided music therapy services in mental health, early childhood development, and Dementia and Alzheimer's communities for over 15 years. Her career has served hundreds of families both locally and internationally. She has toured throughout the U.S. and Europe with two albums of original music, as well as an acclaimed children’s folk album. She also loves rollerskating, Vipassana meditation, vegan cooking, and guinea pigs :)
