In 2006, PLAY MUSIC Company (formerly known as the Music Therapy Center of South Bay) was established to provide music therapy services and programs to the communities of Los Angeles and south bay. Relationships were quickly developed with companies including Miller Children's Hospital, Sunrise Living, Belmont Village, South Bay Adult School, and more. In 2007, south bay's popular "Musical Mondays" program was launched at the Redondo Beach Main Library and spread like wildfire, drawing in record-breaking crowds.

PLAY MUSIC serves over 650 families and continues to be on the rise. Individuals of all ages, both typical functioning and those with learning delays, physical impairment, speech impairment, hearing impairment, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, Alzheimer's, and Dementia, to name a few, are experiencing a direct impact on their life and personal growth through music. Programs include parent-child enrichment classes, all age music lessons, music therapy groups, school programs, community events, workshops, and more.
